President Obama stated:
“I am skeptical that the only answer is putting more guns in school, and I think the vast majority of the American people are skeptical that that somehow is going to solve our problem.”
If the president is truly skeptical of the safety and efficacy of having armed guards in schools, he should immediately remove his children from Sidwell Friends School, or demand they remove their armed guards.
The president's children are no more precious than the whole of America's. All children deserve the ability to go to school without fear, not just his.
