Lead the way to a new type of educational system for NYC, and if needed, all of the United States

On general terms, the United States of America, specifically New York, has an educational system that acts like a brainwasher of many children. The educational system forces many children and teens into states of depression, health issues, and an abundance of stress. Students of today are forced to shape their future paths in ways beyond possible. After eight long, tiring hours of school, many students come home to another six hours of homework that may not be helping them at all. Sometimes a teacher or proctor may have not completed the lesson, or taught it improperly. Here, many students resort to technology to supress the stress and learn the lesson. This petition signs off to reduce the amount of work and pressure that students are forced to participate with.
