We believe the current single round election system has limited the American voter's ability to vote for the candidates that best represent his or her views and concerns. Voters are afraid that a voting for a third party is a wasted vote, or even worse a vote for the least desirable candidate.
We propose a two-round or run-off style election similar to other democracies around the world. This would allow voters to freely select third party candidates free from the fear of a wasted vote.
