Lead a worldwide effort to improve the tracking system for international flights such as Malaysian Airlines Flight 370.

Created by T.F. on April 27, 2014

In spite of extensive news coverage of the ongoing tragedy of Flight 370, it appears that no major steps are being taken to prevent similar disappearances in the future. (Example: www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/asia/malaysia-airlines/index.html)

Our country has been the world's leader in aeronautics since the Wright brothers first flight in 1903. And our dominant role in communications began even earlier, with inventors such as Morse and Edison in the 1800s. This makes us uniquely qualified to take a leadership role in improving the international tracking system, with a goal of covering every square mile of the globe. Governments and the airline industry owe the friends and family of the 239 missing passengers & crew no less, for only then will they know that their endless suffering isn't in vain.
