To learn the facts and use basic facts before making a decision regarding gun bans

We ask that President Obama review the facts about guns and use basic logic before making decisions about gun bans. This includes but is not limited to facts like there are more murders committed with knives than with rifles and assault rifles which means that the gun bans on these types of weapons are banning the types of guns least used in killings but most used for recreational sports. An example of common sense is that a person that wishes to kill someone is not a law abiding citizen therefore they are not likely to follow a ban on firearms. Also a ban on something does not necessarily mean it is not used. for example marinara and alcohol during prohibition. Rather these banned items are bought and sold illegally preventing them from generating revenue for businesses and taxes.
