In the event a contingent military force remains in Afghanistan, future commanders-in-chief may opt to use Afghanistan as a staging area for expanding war into Iran (Afghanistan's neighbor to the west) & intervening in any dispute between India and Pakistan (Afghanistan's neighbor to the east) . By signing this petition, the following Americans affirm that after exhausting wars abroad for the entirety of the new millenium, we wish to take a smaller role internationally so that we are more able to focus on domestic issues, & nation building at home.
