Replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 rather than Alexander Hamilton on the $10 with a woman.
Hamilton was a soldier in the revolution and became Washington's senior aide. Founding father, founder of the national financial system, founder of the Federalist Party. Born out of wedlock and orphaned as a child he is the epitome of a self made man. Though never President, he was a hugely important figure in American History.
All US Presidents deserve our respect. Jackson was our first populist president - representing the interests of the common man relative to his more elitist predecessors. However there are some serious blemishes: he was a slave owner, tried to dismantle the national banking system, and he supported and enforced the "Indian Removal Act" leading to the Trail of Tears.
