I ask that the Obama Administration to take a deep look into what you would really be doing if strict gun laws took effect. Taking away assault rifles will change nothing. Most of murders or assaults with a firearm are those when a person illegally possesses that firearm! We've made drinking and driving, speeding, cocaine, meth, heroin, theft, burglary, etc. illegal; however, it still happens. Maybe if parents took the right precautions with weapons things like this wouldn't happen. A person can kill people just as easily with a shotgun made for duck hunting as they can with an assault rifle. Criminals will still get their hands on assault rifles no matter what. It will change nothing. Yes, America needs something, but taking assault rifles changes nothing.
