Leave the gun laws in this country as such, they are our right as US Citizens under the Constitution and must remain.

The majority of law-abiding gun owners in this country register our firearms and use them in a respectful manner-to provide food for our families or for the enjoyment of target shooting. The Constitution provided the right of citizens to own guns to protect themselves from their own government and now is the time to keep that protection in place. As a student of history, looking at the Russian or Chinese Revolutions the first item the government will come after is our weaponry. I'm not advocating violence against the government but it is our right to protect our families and homes. We need to take a look at the mental health facilities and such that these mass murderers need to be in before we take away guns from the average non-violent citizen. Scary times call for more desperate times
