leave marijuana laws of possession or distribution under the control of state authorities and not federal authorities.

Created by J.F. on December 06, 2011

While there is a 50/50 split in popular vote on marijuana being legal, I do not think it is worth the time and money to delegate control laws to the federal level. What I propose is that full authority on marijuana and the laws that govern its control, use, manufacture, and distribution be left to the power of each state.

The federal level should control more dire matters that affect the country as a whole, such as security and military mobilization and border patrol.

Money would be better dispersed to national programs such as NASA and research, rather than worrying about petty laws that could more than be handled on a state level.
