1. Changing gun laws won't keep them out of the hands of criminals. If a criminal is willing to senselessly shoot and kill innocent people they obviously do not care about the law.
2. What is an assault weapon? A stock, a shroud, a suppressor. These features do not change the functionality of a gun.
3. How long does it take to change a magazine? If a criminal has multiple magazines what purpose are we serving limiting magazine capacity?
4. We have got to be mindful of our constitutional rights. We law abiding citizens need to be able to defend ourselves, our homes, our families and loved ones, and our homeland against terrorists be it domestic or foreign. We cannot open the door for lawmakers to regulate us contrary to the intent of our constitution.
