There have been talks on how best prevent tragedies like the Aurora shooting and the Sandy Hook shooting. First the NRA blames violent video games. Then the Vice President has to go and have a talk with the industry heads, even though, there have been numerous studies on video games, and whether there was a correlation between them and violent behavior.
There are none.
Those studies have shown this consistently.
Plus, there are already safeguards in place to keep children from playing the violent games that are meant for ADULTS, much the same way that there are for movies.
Any taxation, or stipulations that there have to be warning on the cover of these games are a waste of money, and hurtful to the gaming community, including millions of American citizens of all ages.
