Given that the United States Marine Corps has been protecting this country since 1775. The Marine Corps has traditionally done so with valor based on its traditions and has recruited quality personnel who were and are inspired to this service based on those traditions. The uniform of the United States Marine Corps is distinctive, dignified and has not changed for generations in keeping with its devotion to the core values and dedication to said traditions. Changing the uniform of the United States Marine Corps will negatively affect the moral of Marines currently serving as well as those who have served.
This petition beseeches the President of the United States and the Commandant of the United States Marine Corps to leave the Marine uniform as is.
