The Washington Redskins are the one thing in Washington DC that all people of color agree on , The name itself brings people together. Not to mention all of the Billions of Dollars the Fans have spent on Redskins gear. I could bet not one of the millions of fans that use the name Redskins use it in a controversial or derogatory way. It's used as as source of Pride for our NFL team, I contest the Name is NOT divisive but its a rallying point for Americans. Congress has plenty of things to worry about instead of a name. Leave Us alone and do the Job we sent you there to do. you cant get a budget passed yet you want to deprive NFL fans of enjoyment of their team.
