My petition has three parts to it and concerns legal reform. The first part is that every single Bar in every state should have 50% of the grievance committee made up of lay people. Lay people defined as those that do not have a vested interest in the legal community or the criminal justice system. This will ensure that grievances are decided in a way that is in the public interest and not in the interest of the legal community. The second part of my petition is that every state also has major judicial standards commission which will judge judges. The grievance committee of the judicial standards commission should also be met without of 50% judges and 50% laypeople. Again this is to ensure that you don't have judges have in each other's back and that the public interest will.
