We the people believe that the government should make it possible for all illegal immigrants to gain legal status. This would not mean they gain citizenship. From the point of it being passed, illegal immigrants would have 6 months to apply for legal status. They would have to renew this every 5 years, proving they have a job; exclusions apply. After the 6 month period regular deportation would continue. The government would also start checking companies I-9's and the legal status of people who are pulled over.
