In celebration of the 220th anniversary of the ratification of the United States Constitution in 1791, all laws will be written in simple, succinct, unambiguous American English using 100 words or less.
A maximum limit of 10,000 words may be permitted if the additional words reduce legislative ambiguity and prevent misinterpretation of the law.
