legalese "same sex" marriages.

I believe that in this day and age enough of this country has accepted & supports the LGBT community. seven states already have legalized it. most of the people that protest against it do so quoting bible versus such as Leviticus 18:22 witch is a religious opinion. This country has freedom of religion as well as separation of church and state. to get married you have to register and get a license so the government / state is monitoring and regulating marriage. I believe any law that bars same sex rights including same sex marriage to be unconstitutional as it bars full equality. with the government licensing marriage I believe under the separation of church and state any religious argument against same sex marriage should be put off to the side.
