We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

To legalise Cannabis both recreationally and medically at the Federal level.

Created by L.L. on July 20, 2016

The federal government has supplied (and still supplies) Cannabis through the Compassionate Investigational New Drug (IND) Program to 4 Americans in the United States of America since 1980 under the authority of the FDA. They hold over half a dozen patents on the medicinal uses of Cannabis.

Yet to this day, the government denies that Cannabis has any "medicinal value". So this only begs to ask one question.

How can the government and FDA deny the medicinal effects of Cannabis, and at the same time own patents on its medicinal value while supplying 4 Americans to this day with the plant?

We ask that you legalise medicinal and recreational Cannabis on the federal level.

It is not right that the agencies that claim it has no medicinal benefit, are the same ones who own the patents.
