I believe that the legalisation would not effect anyone other than the users. It has been proven to help as a form of medication and such a large number of people use it in a recreational way therefore through legalistation a huge amount of money would be saved for the police force and other areas concerning the law.
It has also been hugely successful in the few states where the use has been legalised.
