An Egyptian delegate was fueled to convince society that cannabis was a threat and was as harmful as consuming opiates. Cannabis is safer to consume than products such as tobacco if used in moderation. Legalization of cannabis would lead to fewer crimes related to theft and the danger of participating in a drug deal. The quality and safety of cannabis could be regulated by the DEA
