The legalization of cannabis would bring relief to millions of people who need the medical benefits of marijuana. It would allow some people to live a normal life who never had that option before. It would also bring in millions of dollars in tax revenue, free up the police to focus on other crimes, bring thousands of jobs to needy Americans, and eliminate the expenditure of taxpayer money on imprisonment of marijuana related offenders.
