Ferrets have long been near to my heart, when I moved to California I was completely crushed to find out they were illegal to own in the state. It is said that ferrets are illegal for the reason that they will go out in the wild and breed and overpopulate, and I can find the counterargument stating that these animals are completely domesticated now, and wouldn't survive more than 3 days in the wild. Of course I don't have any scientific data to back this up, but I really don't appreciate some people, like myself, being restricted of the freedom of being close to their favorite animal. srsly guys, legalize ferrets.
