legalize Absinthe because it does not harm people like other substances and is legal elsewhere, it's harmless.

I would like to legalize Absinthe. I believe everybody should watch the documentary Absinthe on Netflix. There is no scientific data that says it is harmful to persons. Other countries have since legalized it and we are behind. It was a ploy from the wine companies and honestly some people don't enjoy wine and would like to experience the process of drinking absinthe. It would increase sales and business with France or Switzerland. I do not feel like going to Europe just to have to experience Absinthe. If alcohol such as beer and wine is legal, absinthe should also be legal for those of drinking age. It does not actually mess with your mind and make you hallucinate. If persons drink it responsibly it can be an enjoyable experience. I am sure Americans would enjoy the chance to purchase it.
