We believe that the time has come for the United States to follow the example set by many other civilized nations (including Spain and Israel), and make ALL private sexual acts between two or more consenting adults, completely and perfectly legal, provided that all parties have reached the age of consent, and that they consciously wish to participate. This law would negate any other law that seeks to criminalize the act of any adult from having consensual sex with any other adult, regardless of race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or familial kinship with the other participant.
This law should explicitly support and reinforce all existing laws to protect those who do not give consent (the crime of rape); those who are unable to give consent.
