Pot is simply not very harmful; besides the possibility of lung cancer, it cannot kill one. Other drugs-are addictive and can kill. Some people may say that it is the government's duty to save people from themselves. If that is true, that the government should ban attempting suicide. Others may say that it can cause harm to family. If the government were to regulate that, then it should be legal for single people without children to do these drugs. Also, it should be illegal for those whose families are reliant upon to attempt suicide. Also, banning drugs creates gangs. Although more people would do drugs if legalized, they would be sold by stores, not gangs.. Gangs create violence, which the government can stop.
