The federal legalization & regulation of all recreational drugs would:
1. Generate significant tax revenues that could be used to pay down our national debt & provide robust social services such as free healthcare. 2. Eradicate the international/domestic organized crime element & drug traffickers. 3. Prevent unnecessary drug related deaths & the spread of disease.
The federal governments should:
1. Manufacture high quality narcotics. 2. Control distribution through safe & secured centers or clinics where people can purchase & even use. 3. Impose a sales tax.
The Recreational Drug Myth
Recreational drugs are no more dangerous than alcohol & tobacco. There are many more alcohol & tobacco related deaths each year than all recreational drugs combined.
