This petition is an attempt to legalize marijuana on a federal level because it is a natural right that is guaranteed by the constitution.
The legalization of marijuana will also help benefit our economy and society by:
- Lowering prison operation costs
- Generating tax revenue for states to reinvest in more important things (Roads, Schools, Etc.)
- Providing people with access to medical benefits from marijuana
- Treating rare diseases regularly not treatable
