Prostitution should become legalized nationwide.
It is not right for the government to have a say in the morality of this practice. Almost every other industrialized western nation has legal prostitution on a national level.
It is more dangerous for prostitution to be outlawed. The business has no government regulation and is untaxed.
If prostitution were to be legalized, legal prostitutes could be required to have a license, which could be renewed regularly upon the prostitute having a government test for sexually transmitted diseases. Pimping would remain outlawed. The business could also be heavily taxed.
