Marijuana is a billion-dollar industry untapped by the U.S. economy. I believe the legalization and sale of marijuana will be a major boost to our currently failing economy. This has already begun in two states; many others for medicinal uses. However, it is still illegal under federal law. It is illegal because of horrible studies conducted over fifty years ago. We're also wasting billions of tax payer dollars on housing and feeding inmates charged with crimes involving marijuana. We can put those funds to much more peer pertinent issues. It's time for a change America.
