Obviously our economic situation is in dire straits. However, as the use of marijuana is similar to the use of alcohol, a new tax revenue stream, as well as possible new export impacts could be made available if marijuana is legalized. Please note, that I am not a pot head and have literally only smoked the substance once or twice, however I think that this is a missed opportunity that could pracrically eliminate our deficit or dramatically reduce it.
