Automatic weapons (such as AK-47s) should be legalized in all states, and no tax or fee except sales tax should be placed on them. This would be lifting a restriction on the 2nd Amendment, and it would ensure life and liberty (two of the unalienable rights listed in the Declaration of Independence) of American citizens, because with automatic weapons, citizens could further protect themselves from those who intend to do them harm. Legalizing automatic weapons would also mean more liberty for all Americans.
