"Bookmaking" is illegal in 49 states but just in the state of Nevada it is a legal multi billion dollar industry. If state licensed bookmakers were permitted to practice the trade and state governments had a small percentage tax, an economical boost could occur. If regulated properly, it is a harmless form of entertainment and could be used for the financial stability of our individual states.
