For 77 years cannabis has been illegal and it is time to make a change. Keeping this drug illegal cost the U.S. Government around $20 BILLION just last year. For a drug that has been proven to have medicinal value and to be safer than alcohol and tobacco I find it ridiculous that it is still illegal. I believe we should tax it and regulate it like alcohol and tobacco and end this unlawful prohibition that was initiated in the first place because of racist values from the early twentieth century.
