Cannabis needs to be leagalized across the nation beacause it helps in too many ways. It shouldn't even be described as a schedule 1 drug. We are spending too much tax dollars booking people for possession of cannabis while we could be using the tax profit to help fund schools, our infrastructure, the homeless, and so on. We need to be more worried about heroin, meth, cocaine, and all the harsher stuff. You don't here about cannabis tearing families apart, being the cause of violent acts, or causing an overdose. But yet alcohol can do those things and it's legal for those 21 and older. Cannabis can help people with MS, glaucoma, Alzheimer's, PTSD, and so on. So why not legalize cannabis for recreational and medical purposes?
