Legalize Cannabis for Medicinal and Recreational Purposes.

This petition is to recommend completely legalizing Cannabis and any derivative of Cannabis for medicinal and recreational uses on a federal level. The "Drug War" has wasted over two billion dollars to date on a federal level to date, all in the pursuit of ruining the lives of decent people. In 2010 alone our government wasted $15,000,000,000 arresting citizens for using a plant, that has in it's history of over 5,000 years of recorded use, a total of ZERO deaths. For too long typically law abiding American citizens have had to live in fear for consuming Marijuana. When in all actuality they are making the safer, more responsible decision to not use alcohol. Alcohol attributes to more than 75,000 deaths per year. That's 75,000 more than Marijuana in the history of it's recorded use.
