I realize that there is already a petition on this topic. I just want to voice my reasons. I am a medicinal marijuana patient in California, and as a medical patient I feel as though this industry is realistically the next frontier in job creation. WHATEVER the government has been doing for the past 50-80 years hasn't been working. WE NEED TO CHANGE. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE MIXED UP. Marijuana is a valid recreational drug that helps HUNDREDS of symptoms, and in my mind it should be regulated in the same sense as alcohol and should be used like alcohol by the majority of the population. HOW CAN THE GOVERNMENT SAY THAT THEY DONT WANT TO REGULATE IT WHEN IT IS POSSIBLE, PROFITABLE, MEDICAL, AND THEY HAVE NEVER TRIED BEFORE? I ask the government to really reconsider Cannabis across the country.
