Marijuana, unlike crafted alcoholic beverages, has been around since the dawn of time. Over the years it has provided many people with exponential health benefits (cancer patients, etc.) It has also provided countries (that have allowed for the sale and distribution of the product) with a thriving economy. Get up and stand up for your rights as an American citizen and ask your government to legalize this plant. The power of the American government is hardy and staunch as has been proven by efforts to restore the National Deficit and restore economic stability. This act of legalization can only help to eliminate debt as cannabis-related crimes will not be sought as something to be prosecuted for. I only ask that this petition is to be signed exclusively by legal American citizens.
