Legalize 'civil unions' for all couples regardless of sexual orientation or the sex of the couples.

Govt. shouldn't be involved in religion, stick to law. So all unions of couples are mainly a 'civil union' because they are a 'legal' union that allows one desigated person to be another's lifetime partner and share in the benefits and the responsibilities that come with such a partnership. Marriages however, are more of a religious ceremony and can or should be offered by churches, not the Justice of the Peace. Any couple should be allowed to cohabitate or choose another to be their 'heir' and benificiary and legal partner. It should not matter if they are straight, gay, bisexual, intesexual, etc. This would boost the economy. Travel, hospitality, wedding, jewelry, florist, and many other industries would see a great boost in revenue! You'd be a civil rights leader and boost your base!
