Marijuana/cannabis needs to be legalized for the overall sake of our nation. If legalized cannabis will help the U.S economy flourish (after all cannabis is the number one cash crop in the U.S) , lower marijuana related crimes (which in turn will saves billions of dollars spent on creating prisons and regulating prisons), and will help those who do not live in states where medical marijuana is legalized to get the medicine they need.
