Recently, there have been a number of incidents involving concerned citizens firing upon and destroying drones over their yards and private property (California, Kentucky, New Jersey). Each of these people have been arrested. Congress has yet to pass legislation on the permissible destruction of drones over private property. We call on Congress to voter on a bill that would allow citizens to destroy drones (perhaps not with firearms, but less dangerous methods) over their property without being brought to court and wrongfully convicted.
