Legalize domestic animals as pets nationwide.

The domestic ferret is considered illegal in multiple cities and states nationwide as it is still considered a wild animal. Although ferrets were once wild, they have been domesticated to a point where they don't have the ability to survive in the wild. They no longer possess the natural ability to hunt that they once had and would quickly starve to death. Innocent animals are being put to death or released into the wild where they have no chance at survival due to a lack of knowledge on the subject. The only wild ferrets still in existence is the black footed ferret.
Classifying the domestic ferret as a domestic animal would give ferrets the same rights as animals like dogs and cats. It would stop allowing the individual cities and states to discriminate against a friendly creature.
