legalize dueling in order to restore respect, improve courtesy, and to cut back on the everyday hooliganism.

With each passing day our society seems to become more violent, more disrespectful, more underhanded, and more uncivilized. Legalizing dueling would improve the mutual respect for each other as there would be a consequence for disrespect. Violence towards the weak would decrease if there was the possibility of someone defending the weak. Mutual business dealings could always be backed up by force of arms in those situations where the law does not prevail. Legalized dueling may also decrease the gene pool which becomes more polluted with each passing day.
