We do not need anymore killings by people who are unable to control acts of rage. As someone that has suffered with mental illness for most of my life, I know that mentally ill people can be violent and act out on violent thoughts. Many of us have tried numerous times to take our own lives only to fail because either someone found us or the method was ineffective. The reason for this petition to change the laws that make suicide illegal. Instead of eating through taxpayer money with numerous hospitalizations and ongoing treatment, those of us who understand that our lives will not improve should be allowed to access legal means of euthanasia.
If we do not do this, more people will become victims of the mentally deranged. Let the suicidal take their own lives, not others.
