Euthanasia, is a bigger word for assisted suicide, legal in only two other countries, it allows for patients who are terminally ill or in immense permanent pain, emotional or physical, to decide to pull their own plug, it gives the patient and family not only a sense of comfort and security in knowing their family member is passing but knowing exactly when and where and being able to say goodbye to their loved ones, it is in short the ability to pass peacefully. Therefore legalizing it in the US would probably be a very good idea since our yearly suicide rate is 38,364 rather close to 40,000 and that is out of 630,000 recorded hospital visits in the last year due to self-harm and attempted suicide, lets hear these people out, maybe they're better off. Legalize it.
