I believe gambling should be legalized in Tennessee for various reasons, but mainly for economical reasons. I personally reside in Memphis, and it is one of the poorest cities in the country. Driving around downtown, you can see the streets full of vagabonds and homeless people. Legalizing gambling would attract investors to invest in Memphis, and help the overall economy of the city. People here go to Tunica, Ms for casinos, without realizing that that is taking money out of the city of Memphis and distributing elsewhere. Again, gambling is just one of the reforms needed to help the city, but that's all i will address for the sake of this petition.
