Gay marriage has been disallowed due to religious beliefs, something that clearly goes against the separation of church and state. Without religious beliefs, what is the basis for denying legal rights to a homosexual relationship? Gay marriage is a civil right, one worth fighting for just as much as segregation had been. We petition the Obama Administration to legalize gay marriage.
