Equality should apply in every field of life, including marriage. We should not pick and choose the meaning of equality, not what people have the rights to be equal in. Religious views aside, there is no reason two people of the same gender should not be able to get married. Especially since gender is the only limitation placed on marriage. Love does not see any boundaries, so neither should marriage.
