Everyone should be treated as equal right? Then gays should be able to get married no matter where they are. They are ordinary people like straight people but just because they have a different sexual preference doesn't mean we should ban gay marriage. Everyone should be treated equal no matter what. Let me ask you this, does it benifit you if you are straight and you legalize gay marriage? Yes. It will make you feel good seeing others so happy that they can finally marry their partner they have been wanting to all these years because you helped or did legalize gay marriage. Think of the pictures you have seen online of how happy gays are when they were allowed to marry in a state that did not allow it before. You can help contribute to others happiness even if it isn't your own.
