Gay marriage being illegal goes against the constitution and also the civil rights. If marriage is one of the basic rights of United States citizens then it should be a right for them to marry who they chose to marry even if it is the same sex.If same sex marriage isn't legalized all over the United States you will be including a large part of the population that will be angry and use there civil rights to protest against house of congress to legalize this law. Gay marriage is already legalized in some states. It would make it easier to just legalize gay marriage throughout the whole United States. restraining people to not marry who they choose to is wrong and unconstitutional. those who say having gay marriage be legal is a bad influence are wrong. people have right to be what they want.
